# Spray Engineering Devices Ltd (SED)

> SED is an Indian process engineering company (founded 1992, headquartered in Mohali, Punjab) that designs, manufactures, and delivers energy- and water-efficient industrial systems — evaporators, dryers, pans, heat exchangers, and full EPC plants — for the sugar, water treatment, biofuel, jaggery, and product-concentration industries, with installations across 40+ countries.

SED's core technology platform is Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR), used across its patented Low Temperature Evaporator (LTE®) and boiler-free plant designs to cut steam consumption, energy use, and freshwater intake versus conventional evaporation and effluent treatment systems.
