Compact. Efficient. Engineered for Reliable Vacuum Generation.
SED’s Jet Ejector is a high-performance, non-mechanical vacuum-generating device designed to create and maintain vacuum conditions by harnessing the kinetic energy of a motive fluid - typically water. Through precision-engineered hydrodynamic nozzles, it converts pressure energy into high-velocity streams that entrain air, vapors, or non-condensable gases (NCGs), effectively removing them from the system.
Built for durability and efficiency, SED Jet Ejectors provide a low-maintenance, energy-efficient alternative to mechanical vacuum pumps, making them ideal for industrial processes requiring dependable, continuous vacuum performance.

How It Works
The SED Jet Ejector operates on the principle of momentum transfer:
Motive Fluid Acceleration
Water or another motive liquid is forced through a hydrodynamically designed converging nozzle, transforming pressure energy into kinetic energy.
Entrainment of Secondary Fluid
The high-velocity jet creates a low-pressure region, drawing in secondary fluids such as air, vapors, or non-condensable gases from the suction side.
Mixing & Compression
The motive and suction fluids mix in the mixing chamber, where their momentum equalizes. The resulting mixture then passes through a diffuser section, where its velocity energy is reconverted into pressure energy.
4. Vacuum Creation & Discharge
Continuous entrainment and discharge of gases establish a stable vacuum within the system, enabling efficient process operation without moving parts.
This simple yet powerful mechanism ensures smooth, silent, and maintenance-free vacuum generation.
