How It Works
Feed Introduction
Liquid feed enters from the top of the column, while stripping steam or vapor is injected from the bottom.
Mass Transfer Zone
Trays or structured packing maximize surface area, ensuring efficient contact between vapor and liquid phases.
Volatile Removal
Light or volatile components transfer from the liquid to the vapor stream through counter-current flow.
Purified Liquid Outlet
Treated liquid exits from the column base, while vapors containing stripped components are routed for condensation, recovery, or disposal.
This optimized configuration ensures high stripping efficiency, low steam consumption, and minimal pressure drop; all tailored to your process needs.
