The food and beverage industry creates a large amount of wastewater every day. This wastewater comes from different steps like washing raw materials, cleaning equipment, boiling, fermentation, mixing, bottling, and packaging. Because of these activities, the wastewater has high amounts of organic matter like sugar, oil, grease, protein, and solid waste. Sometimes it also carries strong smells and colours.

Treating this kind of effluent is not simple. It changes every day depending on the product, and normal treatment systems need a lot of space and chemicals.

At SED, we offer a better and simpler solution. We use MVR-based Low Temperature Evaporation (LTE®) technology that directly treats this wastewater and gives back clean, reusable water. We do this without any chemical use, without pre-treatment, and without biological treatment — saving both space and effort.
