Liquid feed is evenly distributed across the top of the plate pack using SED’s precision-engineered distributor, forming a uniform falling film over each plate.

Steam or low-pressure vapor flows horizontally over the plates, while the liquid descends vertically. Custom plate patterns create turbulence to maximize heat transfer, enabling rapid evaporation and high concentration rates.
